Entry Description

This is a short comedy about a young couple at the crossroads of adulthood. Kevin is feeling depressed about his future, and Carrie is questioning his actions. Ultimately, they come to a solution that works for both of them.

Judge 1

Positives: Great actors, great story, great chemistry

Improvements: Camera is a little shakey, shot-reverse-shot zoomed in a little tight but not so much to detract

Judge 2

Positives: The characters handled their dialog well. The story had a good resolution at the end.

Improvements: The camera framing was a bit awkward, and you could tell the talent was reading from cue cards. Too many edits.

Judge 3

Positives: I've been married for over 20 years and could relate well to your story! Pulling off a one scene video that is entertaining puts a lot of weight on the script, which was tight and moved along really well in this video. Also, the facial expressions really helped to tell the story. Very entertaining.

Improvements: Use a tripod for all of your shots in the same scene or go handheld, don't mix. If you are going to go with one scene, maybe make it a more interesting setting.
