Entry Description

One student uses her past to help her in the spelling bee.

Judge 1

Positives: Good use of camera shots and framing in telling the story; Nice job editing back and forth in time; good job - keep it up

Improvements: music and sound mix could be improved; Not sure on overall message - plot development could be improved.

Judge 2

Positives: Good job of mixing the music with the sounds of a spelling bee. The editing had a good pace to it. The story flowed smoothly and evenly.

Improvements: I thought that the music ended abruptly when the dad was leaving. I think the framing could have been a little looser on the dolly shot at the beginning. It bothered me that we were seeing just the very tops of some of the student's heads.

Judge 3

Positives: Awesome job. I really enjoyed the whole video. Storyline to editing was outstanding. Music with visuals was amazing.

Improvements: Nothing to improve.
