Positives: Excellent Interview composition. Some of the best I have seen in our projects. Fantastic. Great Graphics and music. The little touches definitely made the project more enjoytable to watch.

Improvements: Could have included B-roll of the subjects doing activities other than drugs and alcohol. No good description early about what Broncos Committed is. I know that kids in it dont do drugs, but I dont know what the actual group is or does. Its it kids who just dont do it? Are they trying to be proactive and stop it? They said they would like to see it spread, but they dont explain HOW it will or can.

Positives: Every interview was beautifully shot. I appreciated that each person had a unique backdrop that allowed them to stand apart from the rest. The camera shots were unique with each person as well so it didn't get boring going from interview to interview. The music flowed nicely under the interviews. The text for the nameplates were well done and blended nicely over the interviews without causing any distraction. Very professional looking.

Improvements: It would have been a stronger documentary if it started off explaining what Broncos Committed is and what they do to make a difference. Then ended with how Broncos Committed has affected their lives and why they chose to be a part of it. At the end of the documentary I still didn't know what this organization does to keep kids drug & alcohol free. Every interview with Brock seemed like he was being blinded by the sun because he was squinting the whole time. Don't think I would have made this the first interview because that was very noticeable. Also Aly's interview was set up gorgeously, but I was distracted by the microphone cord down her leg. So that should have probably stayed at as a close up shot.

Judge 3

Positives: Great pacing and flow in the edit. The music was a great choice that helped move the video along and matched the pacing of the edit. Well put together.

Improvements: Not being from your school it isn't exactly clear what Broncos Committed is. I would introduce who they are and what they do as an organization (specific details and not just overall goal/ mission statement). The audience (outside your school) needs to understand and those in your school who may not have heard of it. Also showing Broll of activities would be good to show in something like this.
