Entry Description

This is a stop-motion animation about the pain from being bullied.

Judge 1

Positives: Soundtrack was good, clean clear concept, good rate of speed

Improvements: backgroung should stay all white (watch the edges) and light balance and exposure could use more conisitency.

Judge 2

Positives: music went well with video word bubbles made sense for message

Improvements: more variety with word bubbles. size, color, pattern have equal time given to solution as was given to the problem

Judge 3

Positives: The formal approach to stop motion animation through photography combined with drawings on the board worked quite well formally, you could see through photography and the built up info graphics that the people being bullied feel uncomfortable and suffer. Actors had been selected quite well: everybody had a convincing expression conveying his/her personal stories..

Improvements: Even though the formal stylistic approach worked well in establishing the suffering from the bullying, I feel that the last tag line had confused the anti-bulling message... It felt like not the bullies had been torn down, but the people being bullied... as the tear down message connected to the previously established narrative of visual stories about people being bullied... I The final message had failed the narrative instead of strengthening it.....
