A wanted small-time criminal is being pursued by both the mob and the law.

Judge 1

Positives: It was really good and kept my interest. Editing and camera work were outstanding.

Improvements: The one blurred shot was distracting. One shot was in color. . . Intentionally?

Judge 2

Positives: Really like the black and white imaging. Good performers. Nice job telling the song's story. Nice job with locations.

Improvements: Ending didn't live up to the entire piece. Fell flat at the end in terms of story.

Judge 3

Positives: A rather comprehensive story told throughout the entire video made this an entertaining watch! It was funny at certain moments, and with a pretty big cast, this was an impressive piece that was well put together. I also liked the impromptu dance sequences, and the pace of the edit was good as well. I particularly liked how the smooth criminal wasn't really revealed until the end. Also the black and white just worked!

Improvements: There's a lot of potential here! While you covered a lot of the basics (shot composition, linear editing, decent action) I feel like you might have gotten a little too wrapped up in making sure you were covered for your story, you kind of shied away from getting "film artsy". Try and inject a little bit of film noir, or visceral action movie into your next production! Get creative with your shots, angles, or maybe even symbolism! The shots at the end were pretty cool, but some of the chase scenes were kinda basic. Mix it up!
