Dancer Julia Jacobs performs her own choreographed dance in the Glenbrook South High School Variety Show.

Judge 1

Positives: Liked the variety of camera angles - worked very well with the choreography. Nice camera work following the dancer. Not an easy thing to do! Good job!

Improvements: This piece CRIED OUT for dissolves in the transitions! It would have enhanced the storytelling. The straight on wide shot of the stage was almost too wide for the single performer. I would have liked to see that camera zoom in, to add variety.

Judge 2

Positives: very nice everything

Improvements: nothing

Judge 3

Positives: Camera zoom pull-backs worked well. Spot light open/close was very well done.

Improvements: When you follow a dancer on a MCU - you have to pan as you pull back - sometimes the dancer moved out of the frame of the shot. The shots for the most part were way too wide - they should have been closer except possibly for the top - which would be wide to establish the stage setting.
