Entry Description

A short sketch about a teenager who goes to a party at the wrong house.

Judge 1

Positives: Camera works is interesting...like spying on the guy....good use of close up focus....music right on the nose

Improvements: Camera a little jerky at times, but that might have been for effect....ending was a little flat--expand on the irony

Judge 2

Positives: There were some good camera shots. The sound and editing were executed well.

Improvements: Some of the scenes dragged on too long. The were some dark, underexposed images.

Judge 3

Positives: I liked the scenes of exiting the house and forgetting the shoes. Nice use of humor. You pulled focus in a few shots, which was nice.

Improvements: Be sure to pay attention to how your subject is being framed. There were some shots where the camera angle was way off. Take the time to set this correctly and don't be afraid to reshoot. Also, use a tripod for longer shots. Some indoor scenes were out of focus. Watch your white balance when switching to outdoor scenes.
