Positives: The discussion of African American representation at the World's Fair was interesting. That could have been the focus. The numerous photos worked well (except for the photos of the San Francisco Palace of the Fine Arts).

Improvements: There was no beginning. The film started in the middle of the womans' dialogue. We also did not know who she was. There were shots of the Palace of Fine Arts which is in San Francisco and was built for the 1914 Panama Pacific Exhibition which is unrelated to the World's Fair.

Judge 2

Positives: I think the story was clear for the most part. Use of photographs and voiceovers was good. The voice was professional and not a "normal" talking voice. This is good.

Improvements: The work seems to be reminiscent of iMovie. Imovie can't solve everything, someone has to go out and shoot scenes. Photographs are easy to drag into the program and set to scale in or out, up or down. The only camera shots were of the person discussing the information. Having more than 1 person discussing historical facts would be advised because it creates interest points.

Judge 3

Positives: Rich variety of supporting evidence. Details are logical and persuasive.

Improvements: Female speaker indistinct.
