Entry Description

Books are the most important part of Summer fun! A stop motion video produced for and promoting the Winnetka Library's Summer Reading Program: Have Book Will Travel!

Judge 1

Positives: The transformation from objects to books was a good narrative element. I also enjoyed the speed at which the objects moved, not to fast, not to slow.

Improvements: I would have like to see more correspondence between each object and the book it transformed into. Also, there seemed to be some unnecessary movement of the suitcase in an odd right curve at the end before it moved off screen.

Judge 2

Positives: Great choice of music to make the video upbeat and fun. It helped to link having fun with reading. good choice of books and objects and the stop animation was done well.

Improvements: I have no comments for improvement. I thoroughly enjoyed the presentations as-is.

Judge 3

Positives: very well thought out piece great object transformations in the book

Improvements: I wish a variety of shot angles had been experimented with to convey the story's various angles
