  • 3/3 2:14 pm - +Really exciting TD call. PxP great energy. Color did a nice job filling in the lines. I would have hoped for more conversation between PxP and color, especially if there is time for replay. I would have liked to have seen a longer clip to get a better idea of how the story was told.

Positives: Great work cutting to a hero tight shot of the player who scored the touchdown and following him to his team for reactions. The touch down graphic looked nice including the name of the player who scored. Great job waiting till after the field goal kick to show the replay and not right after the touchdown risking the chance of missing the field goal kick.

Improvements: Talent mics distorted when they got excited for the touch down so if they back the mics a little away from their mouth and try not to scream then it will be easier to control the levels and avoid distortion. The two cams looked in focus and colored well, however there isn't enough camera looks provided to give a fair judgement since provided in the clip is only a game camera covering the touch down and field goal, and the one other camera providing the tight reaction, and then we see it again in a replay so there is not much to provide feedback on.

Positives: - Really liked the decision by the director to wait on the replay and prioritize the live celebration. That helps the viewer at home feel the excitement of the moment in the stadium. Then it was also smart to not try to squeeze the replay in and potentially miss the extra point. You know you'll have plenty of time between the extra point and kickoff, so great idea to wait on it. - Good camera work throughout!

Improvements: - The cut from game camera to tight camera was probably a little too quick on the touchdown. It almost made it hard to process that the receiver had caught the ball, because it jumped right as that was happening. Next time wait just a beat or two longer.

Positives: Announcers are excited. Replays are good. Nice and tight.

Improvements: The wide shot needs to push in when the action nears the end of a play.
