  • 4/25 1:14 pm - Nice job on editing. Creative shooting, too. I especially liked the "dvd drop" shot. The trailer should give us a little more about the story. The title hints at a sad ending, but the music and vibe was empowering. Maybe try for something more consistent? Very well produced!
  • 4/23 12:57 pm - This had so many great features, nice work. You have some fantastic shots and your storyline and mood all match really well. Very cool “sliding doors” moment between the two characters and alternate timelines. As for pointers, you could more clear in terms of what happened between them and possibly building up the love story a bit more. You could also provide more ambient world noise in the background to help fill in the world.

Positives: Well casted and edited

Improvements: A few scenes could use refilming

Judge 2

Positives: - This piece is beautifully shot. Aesthetically, it feels very cinematic and features some nice camera movement and vivid lighting setups. Some great high frame rate/slow-mo shots in there as well, in addition to an excellent motion graphics card at the very end. - Excellent performances!

Improvements: - The "inciting incident" of the film is a little unclear. You get the idea that Noah was burned by Nick, but it would be nice to have a stronger "moment" to see that point at which Noah pivots. - The sound recording feels a bit muddled and echo-y, it's not bad but could be improved.

Positives: Nice use of colored gels in lighting. well-acted. Good shot variety.

Improvements: Sound is inconsistent quality. It was a little confusing story-wise what was happening near the end of the trailer.
