- 4/23 10:19 pm - Well edited, cool shots, nice use of low angle and closeup shots, POV, high angle. It would have been nice to have the ending quote on the screen longer so we could actually digest it (maybe shorten the dialogue in order to give you a few more seconds at the end)
- 2/26 2:31 pm - Interesting idea. The businessman being a jerk and then having a heart attack seems like karma. Then the homeless kid doing CPR to revive him, despite being treated like trash, was the act of kindness. However, you should have ended it with the businessman waking up and seeing that the homeless kid saved him and gone to the titles (instead of showing them getting up and just walking away together). Realistically, if a person just had a heart attack or even a seizure, they wouldn't just hop up and be like "I'm good!".
Judge 1
Positives: Excellent composition, movement, lack of movement, angles, lack of angles to set the scene and tell the story! Great story, really effective at getting your point across.
Improvements: The audio had a background hum when a wealthy man was speaking. Maybe a lavalier could have been used. I didn't think the softness of the image fit the story. The graphic needed to be longer.

Positives: 1 - the high-pitched hum during the resuscitation 2 - the editing with the shoe kicking the coins
Improvements: 1 - find it hard to believe the two would just walk away like that (recovery time needed) 2 - acted a little too simply for a dramatic event

Positives: The use of sound effects and music worked well with the piece. The variety of camera angles and shots, particularly on the shoes, worked very well for the piece.
Improvements: The autofocus kicked in a few times which appeared to be unintentional. The lighting was a little bright and over exposed at several points.
