- 4/1 1:13 pm - The beginning of the package was an odd way to start a piece. It needed more nats. The track is too long before hearing a SOT. Was an interesting story but it fell short in making a viewer interested
- 3/4 11:27 pm - How can you start this PKG without saying, "I'm so and so, reporting to you from..." That's an old-fashioned, slightly cliched way of starting a news pkg. Watch how news stories are being told today. Using with a sound bite to open, a visual. Watch audio...some is only in left channel. I would suggest not having your interviewees hold their own mic. They usually don't know what to do with it and grasp it in an odd way. Identify them with lower thirds.
- 3/3 9:46 am - Maybe a NAT pop to start, rather that an "Hi". Not a fan of saying "I asked the students... Or I asked the teacher" Would like to see you paraphrase or summarize that leads to a 10 to 12 sec SOT
