  • 4/24 6:10 am - This does not fit the New Program category. This should probably go in Talk Show. Intro of the announcers for 2 minutes is a bit long. I was wondering where this was going. It is not good to have chairs that pivot back and forth, since that is what Lilly is doing at the beginning, which makes her appear nervous. Just go into the interview. You don’t want to say, “The first question is…”We can hear the boys better than Lilly. Not sure if her mic is turned down. Having just one camera shot is boring after a bit. Switch to other camera angles and show medium and close-up shots of who is talking. Plus that way we don’t see the person who is doing the interview looking at their notes which makes it look like they are more interested in looking for the next questions instead of listening to what others are saying.
  • 3/4 3:40 pm - The open was long, wasn't up close and then the text at the end was up so fast it was hard to read (it also looked like the opacity wasn't at 100%). This is not really a newscast, although I think the concept is interesting. It was a long sample of the announcers. Maybe use clips (shorter ones) to show examples of what they do. The audio of the interview also wasn't clear and sounded distant almost as if front mic was used. The guests audio was cleaner.
  • 3/1 5:53 pm - Anchor's mic is not as good as the guests- their audio is way better, almost as if she is not wearing a mic. Shot is off- look at the headroom above the people in the shot. There's a lot there. Shot can be framed better and perhaps add a second camera to get a close up on who is talking. This seems to be entered into the wrong category. This is more of a talk-show, not a news program.
