Positives: I knew I had some Tarantino fans here! I hoped the pizza box would glow when you opened it and I was not disappointed. There's so much about this that is done right. The dialogue is quick and funny, locations were well-scouted and intentional. It's clear that nothing was an afterthought here. Makeup and wardrobe are incredible. Casting on point. My favorite shot had to be when she lifts the hostage's chin up with the hammer-- great framing and performance. That's what filmmaking is all about: we are given the right information in a clear way that amplifies the scene but doesn't detract from the narrative. Very well done! Also, thank you for casting an age-appropriate actor to play the father in the flashback. Great touch.

Improvements: Sound is coming in a little hot, and we've got a visible lav on our henchman. If you're going to lav him, give him a jacket next time so you can hide it better; otherwise, a boom would have worked here, too. Our LEDs are visible, too, but it kind of works with the basement setting, so that's not too bad. However, it is clear they are production lights and not practicals. Use room tone under your ADR so it doesn't pop and put some weight in your pizza box. It looked too light to have a book in it. Lastly, watch your SFX on the ringing phone. You had a desk phone right there and used a flip phone. Make sure the rings match to really sell it.

Positives: Nice work!! Funny action comedy. We love a couple a "goons"! 1) Gotta call out the directing and performances!!! 2) Music choices!!! Often times, music is used as scene wallpaper or filler. This film is a good example of the music choices really elevating the scene.

Improvements: 1) I was caught up toward the end / resolution moments. I think I understood the father character as sharing a generational tradition of mob bossery, but why was he leaving?? 2) Chop this down a bit!! I think this could be a 6minute film, and would be better for it! Look for little moments off the head and tail of each shot that can be trimmed. I think overall there is a good sense of comedic timing, but just make sure that's balanced with getting through the story concisely!

Positives: The camera angles were very good and added to the overall story. The use of music and sound effects worked well with the story.

Improvements: Microphones and lights were visible in several of the shots which appeared to be unintentional. Several of the shots could have been lightened up.
