Judge 1

Positives: good voiceover info some good interviews

Improvements: lighting, often with shadows

Judge 2

Positives: The piece captured the sincerity of those students and teachers who participated in the annual event. The camerawork captured the size and scope of the participation and a wider shot might have showcased it even better.

Improvements: I know the reporter mentioned that it was a breezy day but at the moment she said it, the visual was of the flag on the flagpole just hanging motionless without a breeze stirring. Maybe there was some other footage when the flag was blowing that could have better proven her point. If it's a national event, perhaps some more background on when and where it began would be helpful to the viewer. Also if the purpose was to pray for community concerns, perhaps naming some of those intentions would be helpful.

Judge 3

Positives: The video levels were good and consistent throughout The camera operator used a tripod, which resulted on steady camera work

Improvements: Audio levels could have been more consistent throughout More B-roll close up shots of faces would have been an improvement Utilizing wide establish shots, especially in the beginning would have helped the viewer relate better.
