Entry Description

In this short film, a social outcast’s life is changed when he loses his phone. The short film explores a natural obsession with technology and the negative impacts of a life spent online.

Judge 1

Positives: Enjoyed the story and the message - well written concept; Use of camera angles and framing was excellent; Graphics were nicely done.

Improvements: It could of moved quicker with improved editing; Better audio in the conversation portion of the video

Judge 2

Positives: Really nice work. The storyline flowed smoothly. This was enhanced by great camera shots, good mix of close ups and long shots and angles. Excellent editing- the plot flowed smoothly.

Improvements: Nothing really stood out. It was a little hard to hear Alden at times when he was talking with the girl. One piece of music at the beginning ended a little abruptly. A longer fade out might have been better.

Judge 3

Positives: Great storyline. Good acting with nice camera shots. Excellent music really fits with message. Outstanding job.

Improvements: Audio was sometime just over-driven.
