Entry Description

A video made to fundraise for a local teenager to get the correct type of prosthetics in order to comfortably preform his daily athletic activities.

Judge 1

Positives: Great story cool b-roll

Improvements: Dr's interview audio a little low

Judge 2

Positives: Excellent story and subject choice. It had a good balance of personal story and larger-world application. Very clear and crisp audio. It seems like a given, but this is very important to have. Also, your choice in music did not compete with the VO.

Improvements: Consider packaging more b-roll, and picking up the pacing in the edit. You might also consider including a more direct "call to action" at the end of the VO.

Judge 3

Positives: The story was told well and clearly, introducing the subject and explaining the topic of the piece quickly and clearly. The variety of b-roll and other footage helped illustrate story points well.

Improvements: Some of the hard cuts in the piece could be smoothed out to be more visually effective and improve the piece overall. Shot composition and camera technique could be improved for stronger visual storytelling.
