A music video for Lorde's cover of the Tears for Fears song, "Everybody Wants to Rule the World."

Judge 1

Positives: Good interpretive shots to go with lyrics. Lip syncing pretty good

Improvements: Avoid jump cuts when girl is walking down the road. Don't repeat the same shots.

Judge 2

Positives: Scenes matched the themes and good sound.

Improvements: Several camera shots too dark, good special effects.

Judge 3

Positives: With out a doubt, this is high quality film making. Variance in shot composition, (playing with focus, different color schemes), on-beat and well paced editing, and even a bit of a subtle story, open to interpretation through recurring motifs and symbolism. Everything a music video aught to be! The shot at the end was perfect.

Improvements: The close up shots were great, but if I have to get picky, I feel like you began to rely a little too heavily on them. Some shots didn't need to be repeated (like the step-cut-step at 1:50 , 1:55, 1:58 etc) Use it once, but then maybe do another time-beat scene.
