Entry Description

Upperclassmen at Metea Valley help those with mental and physical disabilities in P.E. class.

Judge 1

Positives: great story good b-roll variety

Improvements: use a tripod for b-roll some shots a bit underexposed

Judge 2

Positives: A very creative and clear set-up for the story (some don't feel comfortable in their own skin.) The choice to feature some of the class members was a good one; it humanizes your subject, which is always important.

Improvements: Might consider using a concluding sign off in the VO. The piece otherwise ends abruptly. The edit, particularly during the features section could have been more aligned (showing Jackson as he's being introduced, etc.)

Judge 3

Positives: Audio was well captured from all interviews and on-air talent. Great shot variety and storytelling techniques.

Improvements: Shot compostion could use some improvement (i.e. tighter frames on interviews) Reporting was a bit ernest for overall tone of the piece.
