Entry Description

After the traumatic death of his younger sister leaves him emotionally unstable, he decides to seek revenge on all of the classmates that caused her death.

Judge 1

Positives: Really good job of conveying the story. It was easy to follow. The newspaper clippings intertwined with the hidden shots helped build tension. The narrator as the stalker seeking revenge was a good idea. Very nice timing.

Improvements: I thought the flash frames were overused. When used with the sound effects and transitioning from different shots it was fine. Also towards the end there seemed to be a lot of stuttering in some of the edits. Maybe you were going for an effect but I thought it looked a bit disjointed a straight edit would be fine.

Judge 2

Positives: Fantastic editing and pace. I feel that this told me everything I need to know about the story and capture my interest.

Improvements: I think the setup could have been explained without the news sound bite to be more effective. I would have liked to see more of the film, even more quickcuts, than what felt like one scene.

Judge 3

Positives: The story was clearly conveyed, and had excellent use of audio. Did a good job setting the mood of the trailer.

Improvements: I think that flashing transition was overused a bit. I would cut that down.
