Entry Description

A pair of students become entrapped in the presence of a supernatural being one night after their school's Paranormal Club.

Judge 1

Positives: Good use of camera shots combined with editing created suspense; Nicely done.

Improvements: Plot never really developed and could be improved for a stronger ending; Audio and sound were erratic and could be improved.

Judge 2

Positives: Nice camerawork. Liked the dolly shot (Steadi-Cam?) of her running down the hall. The music/effects track work well to build the suspense.

Improvements: Try to blend the ambient noise level from one scene to the next to help smooth it out. Going to black between some scenes were a bit abrupt. Maybe a fade to black would be smoother.

Judge 3

Positives: Fun to watch. Great job of creating the feeling of horror with the camera work. Enjoyed it.

Improvements: Maybe add more dramatic lighting and smooth out audio levels.
