Official music video for the band Gardens' song, "Haze," cut down from around five and a half minutes to four.
Positives: Good variety of shots. Editing was very good. Very professional looking.
Improvements: Lyrics were hard to understand, so it was hard to follow the story. U
Positives: Very nice imaging. Good camera work with moving camera. Transitions help support music.
Improvements: Story a bit unclear. Perhaps less band images and more "B roll" to help viewer understand story.
Positives: Very high quality film making! This felt professional; with the DSLR and advanced post-production editing done on this piece (color correction, lighting, filtering, etc) This music video was very well crafted! The set lighting, and the camera work was also superb and kinda artsy. I dig. (Way to get total shot coverage for the whole band! Many other videos didn't!)
Improvements: I guess I could use a bit more story, as opposed to the frontman just walking around lake Michigan and singing. Also, I guess if I have to be picky, there wasn't really much variety of action. Jamming-walking-Jamming-walking; it was slightly repetitive, but not enough to really bother me.
