Entry Description

An excerpt of a music video created for the start of the school year intended to incorporate many students and staff from the school.

Judge 1

Positives: Like use of the large groups and teacher involvement. Pacing was good for the song.

Improvements: Video was inconsistent between shots.

Judge 2

Positives: Fun! Energy! Good lip-sync edits. Handheld camera works well here.

Improvements: I would love to see more close ups. Camerawork was good, but watch your compositions. Interior shots could use better lighting, not just existing. Watch your white balance.

Judge 3

Positives: Very creative shot selection / creation. Overall feel of the piece was fun and infectious.

Improvements: While succeeding in having fun, there wasn't any narrative / story telling involved. Some of the audio synching to the vocals was off.
