Entry Description

The theme of the song is about conquering yourself and your fears so I used four different people and stories to try to get that theme across. Each character is supposed to represent a color which is why the paint fight at the end is supposed to show how they all conquered their fears and are celebrating because of it.

Judge 1

Positives: Great job! Really enjoyed watching your project. Use of camera shots and editing kept the pace moving. Well done.

Improvements: Quality of video was inconsistent and could have been improved.

Judge 2

Positives: Good plot and characters. I liked your use of color over different scenes.

Improvements: Be mindful of camera composition. Handheld camera works, but not when I am distracted by it. Watch your colors. Many times your exposures and white are off.

Judge 3

Positives: The inter-cutting of the four stories was well done and well timed. The color effect and bringing it together at the end was great.

Improvements: A few shots were over exposed, not a lot. Understanding that a lot was shot in environments w/out a lot of production / creative control - they could be structured / lit more dramatically.
