Entry Description

A coming of age story about two boys realizing there friendship trumps there desire for girls. This is a five minute excerpt from the 15-minute short film.

Judge 1

Positives: Good job on camera angles, framing and variety of shots during the driving sequence. Excellent job shooting the skateboarding scene down the street Editing was well done as well audio on dialogue and sound mix

Improvements: not much needs improvement Good story line and the characters were developed in the 5 minutes you gave us

Judge 2

Positives: Liked the varied shots from CU's to extreme wide shots. Good job on the editing. The video had a nice pace to it.

Improvements: The first song comes on a little hot compared to the dialogue in the previous scene. I'd suggest fading out the music and dissolving from the scene of the guy getting out of the van to the scene where he's in bed.

Judge 3

Positives: Beautiful look. Awesome lighting and camera work was outstanding. Would like to see more. Awesome job. A true joy to watch.
