Music video for the song "Levels" by Avicii.

Judge 1

Positives: I liked the use of the multiple compressed shots showing the different areas of Joe's life.

Improvements: Shots lingered too long and did not flow well with the story being told. Needed a larger variety of shots.

Judge 2

Positives: Very nice job with the edit. Good use of cutting to the beat. I like that you tried to mix up locations and have a variety.

Improvements: All of the interior shots need help with lighting. It looks as if only natural or practical lighting was used. Watch exposures and your compositions.

Judge 3

Positives: The editing and timing were very good. I enjoyed the creative selection of shots for the montage. I liked the decision to use the slo-mo street shot for as long as you did. Creative choice after the earlier faster paced editing.

Improvements: While funny, there really wasn't much narrative. Maybe that was intentional but hard to tell for sure. Video quality seemed to differ from shot to shot - not sure if shot on different cams.
