Entry Description

The Autobots are facing desperate times. Megatron has taken control of Earth and Optimus Prime, leader of the Autobots, has fallen; Earth as we know it today will cease to exist unless a Hero rises. Who will it be?

Judge 1

Positives: Nice use of both video and sound effects. Good variety of shots.

Improvements: I think the title animation was a little too long and that time could've been used to develop a little more of the story. Had difficulty hearing some of the soundbites.

Judge 2

Positives: Great fun with the fx. Very dramatic and captured the size of the story through sound nicely.

Improvements: I would have liked to have gotten more of a sense of the story. I'd research stop motion and build a lighting rig to maximize what you can do with this animation style.

Judge 3

Positives: You did a really good job at animating the robots specifically when they are getting out their weapons, and creating some neat effects. Great Optimus Prime voice.

Improvements: When the screen pans in the beginning I think its a little too trippy. Makes the viewer a little dizzy. Work on smoothing out the editing and making the scenes flow better.
