The story of Kai as he transitions from middle school into the High School.

Judge 1

Positives: interesting photography and camera work .

Improvements: voiceover needed in opening montage instead of the long song took too long to know what this piece was about. one cannot count on a viewer reading the description. the video has to tell the story without an explanation

Judge 2

Positives: This a really well-shot and edited piece full of challenging and successful athletic achievement. The action sequences and musical interludes helped set the tone and the mood.

Improvements: Not at all sure how this show's a transition from middle school to high school. For the two minutes of the piece, he's at a desk for about 10 seconds, not within a stone's throw of a school book or a classroom. Maybe we didn't see the whole piece or the description could be reworked to better match the footage. Seems that most of the stunts performed should have been done with a helmet, especially at some of those speeds and heights.

Judge 3

Positives: Great camera work and editing. Nice job of incorporating natural sound.

Improvements: The segment lacked any sort of storytelling. Even though the visuals were great, it really does not explain Kai's transition in High School.
