A literal interpretation of Katy Perry's "Hot & Cold."

Judge 1

Positives: Good energy. During refrains, shots were switched up.

Improvements: Watch lighting when shot filmed around corners. Trim editing on action shots. Don't have characters not moving and then start moving after edit.

Judge 2

Positives: Do not understand story line? Sound met objectives noted.

Improvements: Audio was not in sync with characters. Several dark scenes making video difficult to view.

Judge 3

Positives: Lots of potential here! You covered pretty much every lyric of the song, which is actually hard to do. Everything was in focus, as well as the editing to the song was spot on and creative. Only video I've seen with a bit of choreography, so bonus points there too!

Improvements: This video was definitely creative, but the shots themselves felt stale after a while. Virtually every shot was from the same angle, at a roughly the same distance (medium to medium close-up) with the exception of a few wider shots. Throw some spice into your camera work! Go nuts with the lighting, or mess with the speed! If I had to be picky, there were a couple repeated scenes, and I could use a bit more story, but like I said, lots of potential!
