Defining success one student at a time

Judge 1

Positives: The editing worked well with the variance of the camera shots from scene to scene. The Sound was well done. The speakers remained clear and audible throughout the film.

Improvements: It would have been interesting to hear how the student council had been successful. Was there a project that was accomplished or completed? It would have been good to incorporate a few more ideas form other people about success.

Judge 2

Positives: The story has multiple layers and develops into something more than the question itself. People go beyond by providing examples of success and what that looks like in action. Good range of audio and mixing with vocals.

Improvements: It's easy to pick something generic to play in the background. What makes something innovative is not just doing something new, but pairing something that's been done before with an interest point. Background music can do that, if you take the time to explore that avenue. Good flow. I was hoping to end on a stronger theme, but it didn't really have a closing thought or perhaps a quote at the end about success.

Improvements: Nothing.
