This satire on the community was re-written and produced just for the community to think a bit more....

Judge 1

Positives: Clever take off of original song. Audio levels were good.

Improvements: Try different angled shots.. Align shots with lyrics.

Judge 2

Positives: Enjoyed the satirical lyrics and images. Well edited and shot.

Improvements: Music was a bit repetitive. Story was one dimensional.

Judge 3

Positives: Well composed shots! Some of the focus play, different angles, and speed changing really made some of your shots pretty eye candy. I like how despite being kind of a literal video, you still tried to highlight the issue of the socio-economic divide within your own community, which I appreciate.

Improvements: A lot of potential here! I feel like some shots maybe got a bit more love than others (stuff inside the car was kinda dull, stuff in the parking lot was pretty cool, etc) If I HAVE to get picky, I would say try to veer away from being too literal. In film making you'll hear a phrase, "Exposition is the kiss of death." meaning, that you shouldn't visually show exactly what you hear. It feels a little cliche. Sometimes it has to be done, so try to get a little more creative! Like instead of hearing, "Money" then seeing a couple 20's, maybe show rich folks doing rich folky things, like listening to their iPods in Starbucks with their mac-book pro's or what have you.
