The story of the Men's service club

Judge 1

Positives: excellent camera shots and crystal clear quality video good opening and Kyle's close-up shot good editing

Improvements: hard for me to critique--probably director could have varied shots so not so much with Christmas tree tasks.

Judge 2

Positives: Good camera work, good editing and sound helped tell the story of community service efforts of the Men's Club. The music selected helped keep the pace and set the mood as the piece provided information on how to get involved.

Improvements: Not sure if this was one piece among many that showcased the work of the Men's Club, or if the work is seasonal, but a photo montage of other projects the group works on would provide more visuals and also spark more interest in a wider variety of activities in which the group participates. It was a little unclear exactly who was being helped by aiding with the Christmas trees -- was the group selling trees and the proceeds helping the community or were they volunteering at some community fundraiser. Perhaps some graphics or signage would have helped clarify this aspect of their work.

Judge 3

Positives: Good use of music and natural sound. Nice camera work and editing. Solid video levels. Great open and establishing shots.

Improvements: The VO could of identified what Men's Club is better. More information would have been helpful to the viewer.
