A stop-motion animation piece in which an aspiring artist discovers that even the work she casually dismisses has more life (and love) in it than she ever imagined.
Positives: Concept was interesting, nice transition from the animation to the girl coming alive. Also liked the clothing switch, good addition to the narrative.
Improvements: The overall narrative was a bit vague, and it could have used sound in the first portion as well as the last.
Positives: told a brief story well setting was appropriate for story
Improvements: stop motion was really used to its fullest would have liked to see more of a transition from drawing to real person.
Positives: • An interesting story twist, • Nice costume for the animated girl who came to life..
Improvements: The story impact is questionable as there is no evidence that it had had produced an impact on the artist herself and she had learned from it to treat her work differently... What is also questionable is an animation category for this entry... Nothing is animated here It is a borderline of a time lapse photography,,, It would also be nice to see some integration of techniques: drawings blending into the photography, Drawing gradually coming to life and turning into a real image...
