How do you live your life when you are torn away from the life you have always known?
Positives: Good music choice for the piece. Editing had good pacing.
Improvements: Didn't see much of the actors face, just the back of his head or silhouetted in the window. Perhaps seeing some reaction shots would've aided to the mood of the story. A narrator or text could also help explain the story.
Positives: This sets the tone of the story very nicely through the scenic shots and the use of soft dissolves. I loved how the figure was kept primarily in dark through the majority of the sequence
Improvements: More emphasis on the story, or more direct cues as to what the film's story will be to capture the viewer's interest. I think more attention to camera angle would build a more dynamic visual narrative.
Positives: The music choice worked well to set the tone. Nice shot of the sunset through the car window.
Improvements: There was a really slow pace and some editing could benefit well. You could cut down on the packing the car and driving scenes. Needed some more story development.
