Entry Description

The innocent is about a girl who lost her best friend and how she is coping with the loss.

Judge 1

Positives: Nice job portraying loss and the emotional feelings that go with it. There were some really nice creative shots. Good use of changing angles and levels of zoom.

Improvements: The music felt a little more uplifting and not quite appropriate for the somber mood of the story. There were some transition issues with the audio when changing levels during narration. Didn't seem smooth.

Judge 2

Positives: Love the opening edit, well paced and well acted.

Improvements: I'd consider a different choice of music that really conveys the character's motivation. i'd like to understand the overall story, felt more than an intriguing snippet of a short film.

Judge 3

Positives: The opening scene was very nice and the lighting set the mood for the story well.

Improvements: I think a more diverse range of footage would convey the story more.
