An unsuccessful would-be Romeo finds help in an unexpected place in this original music video.
Positives: Good lighting techniques. Good energy from the actors.
Improvements: Watch audio levels. Pinning the needle at one point. Camera should not cut off the heads of the actors (choir scene)
Positives: Nice job with editing and images. Story told well and clear. Good satire.
Improvements: Some lip-syncing didn't work as well as others. A few images were dark and not up the quality of most of your shots.
Positives: A clever take on a classic trope! This was a rather entertaining music video, with a well paced edit, good lip sync, lots of cool shots and an overall polished product. Also no repeated shots! (You'd be surprised how many other music videos in this category used the same shots over and over!)
Improvements: There's a lot of potential here! I feel like you could have taken your original premise a bit further, and perhaps made a little bit of a story out of your idea. After the opening, the video kind of became a funny and goofy dance montage. Don't be afraid to be creative and really try to incorporate more of a story, it'll really help hook your audience!
