Every teacher has a story. Mr. Kapsimalis speaks from the heart about his daughter's struggle with Type I diabetes.

Judge 1

Positives: The story line worked well. It was a serious and personal story. The change between the interview and the pictures worked well.

Improvements: It would have been good to get a little more information about Type 1 Diabetes. I am not informed about the different types. The setting could have been improved.

Judge 2

Positives: This is a very interesting story, and I think that the message is clear. The camera work was clear, as would be expected from a documentary style piece.

Improvements: The ending was abrupt, almost clipped, I think due to time constraints of what would appear to be used for a homeroom type announcement on the television. Innovation, to me, means trying something new.

Judge 3

Positives: Interesting from a father's perspective. Nice child shots.

Improvements: More explanation of purpose needed.
