Entry Description

A young boy wants to feel accepted -- not neglected -- by his father.

Judge 1

Positives: Good Story and unexpected twist at the end; Good mix of shots and camera angles; However could mix in some medium framed shots to help with the storytelling;

Improvements: Could mix in more medium shots; Better sound mix was needed - Door closing and other sound effects were too loud and evident; Watch continuity in shots;

Judge 2

Positives: Camera angles and mix of close ups and 2 shots were good. Good lighting techniques.

Improvements: Some of the mixed in sound effects were off - the sound of sanding over a shot where the dad wasn't sanding. The storyline was a little rough at times and hard to follow.

Judge 3

Positives: Outstanding job. Great lighting and great use of multiple camera shots.

Improvements: Maybe smooth out the audio some. The audio levels could be more even.
