A documentary style look into the life of John Konchar, a true basketball talent in the Upstate 8.
Positives: The camera shots of John dunking were the most effective in the documentary. They were edited well. The number of people individuals interviewed worked well.
Improvements: The camera work during the basketball clips could be improved. The clips were not focused well. The beginning of the film could have been developed better. It started out a little dry. Music and shots of John dunking would have been good.
Positives: Good facts and information provided by people interviewed. This would be good to promote the student to major universities. Good choice in mortalkombat style music.
Improvements: Interview style right up front without any introduction is a bit odd. It would have been helpful to be a little more clear in your method. Who is he? I don't know. There's no clue as to who he is until later, and it took several shots to size him up from the feet up.
Positives: As a presentation video, all the required information is supported well. Humor appreciated.
Improvements: A bit choppy and more enhancements could have been used.
