Practicing in their exclusive facilities in Deerfield, Illinois, The Chicago Bulls have been an integral part of the fabric of this quiet suburb for an entire generation. With the construction of a state-of-the-art facility near the United Center, the Deerfield-Bulls love affair is suddenly coming to an end.
Positives: good camera work interesting premise
Improvements: a few lighting issues
Positives: Well shot report that captures the sentiments of some Deerfield residents about the end of an era for their town's association with the Bulls' practice center. Good sound bites from Bulls trainer to integrate into the piece and nice footage of weight room/practice gym.
Improvements: The loss to the community would be even more wide-reaching if those being interviewed represented a better cross-section of Deerfield residents and not just students. If possible, an interview with one of the players would have added another dimension. More background information on the Berto Center would have been nice -- when it was built, how many championships the team had during the time the Bulls had been practicing there, some of the Bulls' greats who had practiced there including Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, etc. etc.
Positives: Great name key graphic. Good camera work. Framing was good. Nice mix of shots. Host had a good delivery.
Improvements: The people being interview were holding the microphone themselves. This seemed a little awkward The editing could have been tighter. There are long pauses between the VO and/or the interview bites.
