Entry Description

In this week's show, we look how at the new Illinois conceal and carry law is affecting the school. Next, we visit the ice to see an exhibition hockey game for those with disabilities. And... finally, we learn about the ancient Japanese art of Kendo- and then onto the greens for dome golf. All this and more on Warrior Wakeup.

Judge 1

Positives: nice graphics good variety of stories

Improvements: anchors not in focus some interviews framed badly

Judge 2

Positives: Great opening package, establishes energy through tight editing! A fantastic collection of stories, that had us engaged the entire way.

Improvements: Many of the on camera subjects were under-lit. Adequate lighting helps separate your subjects from their background. Anchors could have benefitted from a bit more rehearsal, resulting in tighter cues between lines.

Judge 3

Positives: Show was well produced and directed. All elememts wereexecuted competently. Good mix of stories to bring the show outside ofthe school and make it seem much larger.

Improvements: Talent was well spoken, but could be more comfortable in front of the prompter. Did not understand the point or value of the golf segment.
