In a "sled hockey" exhibition game to benefit individuals with physical disabilities, the Deerfield Hockey team plays with athletes from GLASA- The Great Lakes Adaptive Sports Association.
Positives: interesting camera shots on ice great subject
Improvements: lighting uneven
Positives: It is an important story about an interesting fund-raiser for a good cause. The interviews with the participants helped viewers understand what the experience meant to those who took part in the event.
Improvements: Please be very careful about the use of the word "normal" -- perhaps you could use the word regular "in regular hockey games" vs. using "in normal hockey games". There is sometimes/often a sensitivity in the community to words that seem to disparage or insult those with challenges or otherwise-abled. Try to strive for the same clarity of speech and clear diction throughout the report, as that which was evidenced in the reporter sign-off. Some of those interviewed were in deep shadow so keeping a consistently lit area for those interviews would make their look more balanced once edited together.
Positives: The voiceover was well delivered and easy to understand. Great choice of content. Very interesting subject matter.
Improvements: Some of the people being interviewed looked a little dark. The position of the person being interviewed should have been moved into better lighting Additional B-roll would have been an improvement.
