Positives: staff member interviewed gave the best case comment interesting premise good camera shots

Improvements: student responses

Judge 2

Positives: Serious, important issue that deserves attention and comment. Good mix of interview subjects -- law enforcement professional, students, faculty.

Improvements: Since it's a serious subject, a little more depth as background would be helpful -- information about school shootings nationwide (Columbine, Virginia Tech, Newtown or even locally -- Winnetka 1988). When shooting interviews, tighten shot to more of a medium close up so that less ceiling and wall is in the shot and ask interview subjects to sit up straight (like math teacher who is leaning off to the side in slouching position).

Judge 3

Positives: Great selection of sound bites. Nice to hear all the different opinions from student and faculty. Interviews were framed up well. Audio was great.

Improvements: More B-roll throughout would have been an improvement Place people being interview in a location that is more evenly lit.
