Entry Description

This is a commercial for Gatorade, featuring a real varsity soccer player. The style is modeled after the traditional testimonial commercial style that so many sports products use.

Judge 1

Positives: Good parody of traditional endorsement commercials. Message is pretty clear.

Improvements: Maybe it's a style thing, but I'm not crazy about using a series of jump cuts of the person being interviewed. Audio is rough also... camera-mike I assume.

Judge 2

Positives: I like the multiple cuts of him talking. I like the shots of the tricks.

Improvements: If he's talking about becoming dehydrated playing soccer, I'd like to see him actually playing soccer. Audio could be cleaner and lighting was kind of blue.

Judge 3

Positives: Good concept. Good audio.

Improvements: I like the idea of the quick cuts with his audio bytes but in the future do some big camera angle changes to break things up. Don't do unnecessary effects. If you do an effect plan on using it at least three times. If something only pops up once it is confusing,
