Entry Description

Movie trailer for a short film about three sisters in the early 70's coming together after a separation. They all are dying from cancer.

Judge 1

Positives: Nice use of the text reflecting the theme of the 3 sisters. Good pacing and use of lighting and music to convey the mood. Some very creative shots and composition.

Improvements: Really great job on most of the lighting. Saw some really nice techniques however several shots were very dark and difficult to see the actors.

Judge 2

Positives: The visuals perfectly express the tone of the film. Great use of music and soundbites to put the viewer into the story.

Improvements: The edit could be shorter to have more impact. I think the story told in the trailer is strong enough to not need the title cards to support its message.

Judge 3

Positives: There were some beautifully shot scenes and the lighting set the mood very well. Did a good job setting a dramatic tone.

Improvements: Some of the dialogue was a little hard to hear so some sound editing improvements could definitely improve the quality of the trailer.
