Entry Description

This commercial shows off the clothes that are displayed at Urban Outfitters, along with showing all the different kinds of brands that are sold at each store.

Judge 1

Positives: There's a lot squeezed into a short :30 spot... certainly fast paced.

Improvements: There are a couple shot sequences where things change too quickly and we sacrafice content (knowing what's being sold) for visual effects. Not always a good tradeoff.

Judge 2

Positives: It definitely looks like a commercial for a retail store. Nice pace of cutting video to go with the music, and good length of shots as well. Good clean audio.

Improvements: The product names on screen. It would work better if they were more randomly place on different areas of the screen, and not necessarily only one at a time.

Judge 3

Positives: Great editing. Great shooting.

Improvements: Voice over could have been up a little bit higher. the graphics were fine but try using an opacity change or blending modes to make them seem less pronounced. Very very good job.
