This was a video that I produced for our high school radio station, demonstrating how the audition process for students who want to have a show on WLTL.
Positives: I Liked the intro slide, old timey feel and thought bubble. Also liked the popping out of doors to move Paxton from one place to another.
Improvements: How is the grading done? What was the rubric on the laptop screen? A little insight into the criteria would have helped to resolve the happy ending. Changing piano tunes at the end was a little jarring.
Positives: The subject of the demonstration ties in well to all the graphics, the delivery of the voiceover, and music all mesh well. The explanation of a talk break was helpful, and was followed up by a clear example. The entire process was explained clearly and succinctly.
Improvements: The clip of the interview room (1:10) is a little blown out, the white shirts worn by the interviewers and the sheet of paper are blown out and no longer have any detail. In the future, try adjusting your exposure, such as by stopping down on the lens. A really small note, but try fading up on the music that comes in at 1:30 - the start is a little harsh and even a subtle or quick fade up can help.
Positives: This video was so entertaining. Started smiling from the first few seconds. I think the old time piano background music and the disheveled old screen sand made it special. And. It was a complete story. Got the point. To be literally honest, it was truly professional. And in only 1-1/2 minutes. Good work!
Improvements: Some of the graphics could have been left out. Just a little too silly. Maybe a different dress code? Can't find too many faults! Congrats!
