- 3/9 2:46 pm - Technically well-produced. Good use of chromakey. I always look for S.W.A.P. The Synching of Words And Pictures. It would be so awesome to see these students participating in their heritage and culture rather than just hearing about it via words. Think of ways to really showcase the heritage. Other than that, you are doing a fine job of promoting our need as a society to pay attention to the many heritages we are surrounded by in our communities and what makes them special.
- 3/6 9:11 am - You've got some good light here and all of your subjects show up well on screen. I don't notice any issues with chromakey so that effect was executed well. I think that you also capture some good sound bites from the students that appeared in the piece. It's evident that they are proud of their culture and hertage! I think my only criticism for the piece might be captilizing on the opportunity to show more visuals of the things that these students are talking about? That's the cool part of a visual medium, you get to SHOW people things that they might not have an immediate connection to and in this case, people who are from different cultures. Show us the food, show us those things these students are talking about, even if it's a still photo. I think that would have enhanced this quite a bit. That being said, I think you were going for the connection that could be made with these "testimonials" and from that angle, you definitely hit the mark!
