  • 4/30 8:13 pm - Love the time loop aspect of this. The clock is a good focal point and having it spin was a good choice. There were a lot of cool choices happening in this edit, making it feel like a show, almost, and teasing an episode is what it kind of felt like. The coloring, the snippets of what different people were saying that didn't tell the whole story just gave us glimpses, was good.

Positives: The musical instincts here are genuinely exciting. There’s a real ear for how sound shapes mood and momentum, and you can feel the intentionality behind the main cue selected. The editing has its own rhythm and personality — a voice that’s distinctly yours and hard to teach. And that closing title card moment? Introducing your talent at the end was a thoughtful, confident creative choice that left the audience with something to hold onto. Keep trusting those instincts.

Improvements: Your next leap is in the visuals. The camera has more to say — experiment with angle, height, and movement to match the energy you’re already bringing to the edit. Lighting is one of the most powerful storytelling tools you have, and with more intentional setups, your imagery will hit as hard as your soundtrack does. On story, consider leaning into voiceover as a tool to orient your audience early — a few grounding lines at the top can open up so much freedom in how you tell the rest. The vision is there.

Positives: The music works well. It sets the tone well. The editing and transitions are great.

Improvements: Dilogue needs to be more present and the music needs an EQ cut arounf 1k when there is dialogue.
